Maricopa County Warns Residents About Online Scams

Maricopa County warned residents to avoid online scams, saying cyber attacks and phishing attempts are on the rise.

The county said people can learn how to spot scams, protect their information, and browse more confidently by joining its no-cost Cyber Security & Computer Basics classes. The classes are offered in both English and Spanish at the county’s East and West Valley Career Centers.

Maricopa County said those interested can get started by calling 602-506-0589, stopping into either career center, emailing HSDTrainingTeam@maricopa.gov, or visiting Maricopa.gov/Training.
